You will be required to create a Survival Guide for each Social Studies and Science unit. A Survival Guide will help you focus on key concepts that you will need to understand for assignments, and it is an excellent study tool to help prepare for upcoming tests.
WHAT SHOULD I INCLUDE IN MY SURVIVAL GUIDE?
* Definitions of terms * Important concepts in the unit * Examples of the “process” required to solve specific problems * Connections to real life examples
HOW SHOULD I PRESENT MY SURVIVAL GUIDE?
You may use the front and back of 1 piece of paper. Your Survival Guide should be typed or neatly hand written. It should be stored in a plastic page cover in your notebook.
